The word “art” encompasses a wide variety of things. It conjures many images, the most common being “visual” in nature. There is also “conceptual” art which can be visual, but it is its “concept” which is typically considered the art itself. In respect to the content on this blog, it focuses on any number of arts more visual in nature as defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary’s definition listed 4th, under “art[2,noun]”:

4 a : the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects: also : works so produced

Art is perpetual and so is this blog. Though the subheadings listed here are general, the various posts on their pages may often contain information on other related art forms. The articles will usually highlight those more familiar, but when I come across something artistically creative which I find particularly interesting, I’ll most likely post about it!
