Well, faithful followers, since I’ve been bouncing ’round the blogosphere, I’ve noticed most blog owners commemorate their blogs’ anniversaries in one way or another. I don’t want to make a big “to do” about it, but do want to acknowledge, in some way, the milestones as they come 🙂
So, gang, another giveaway has come and gone! And it’s amazing to me, but the same two people won the 6 prizes offered (3 per blog)! Their odds of winning were very strong due to the smaller-than-expected turnout, so they won’t just be getting little envelopes…they’ll be getting big ones! 😀 And it turns out that Cool Mom doesn’t use mousepads (she won BOTH lol), so she said to throw them back into the pot—so I did! Thanks, Cool Mom!
Being relatively new at this blogging thing and having only done two giveaways so far, the first being for the blog launches, I’m not sure my timing was right on this one since it was the holiday season. The prizes are the same, so if you didn’t win one of the three I offered to celebrate my blog launches, here’s an opportunity (and there will be more next year) to give it another go! A “heads up” for anyone following both blogs: this is a double post, so the contents are the same.
With my last post I ran a little giveaway for 3 bookmarks. (I have plenty to give away so I’ll be doing it again, along with the occasional mousepad and notebook.) Just a few minutes ago Rafflecopter did its “thing” and I’m more than happy to announce the winner is none other than *drum roll, please*: Continue reading
Recently, on Leslie Zampetti’s blog, Rear in Gear, she posed a question about how to get kids to talk about what they’re reading. As I began typing my comment in response, it got me thinking about what’s at the core of the issue. My thoughts came full circle, ultimately encompassing what’s at the core of many “road blocks,” even for we adults. It’s all about focus and how we go about achieving that. Let’s start with the issue that sparked my thought process: Continue reading
